Create@Harcourt – Sewing and Craft Retreat

Create@Harcourt is the perfect setting for sewing and craft retreats or get-togethers with friends or extended family. Only 7 mins from Castlemaine and 20 mins from Bendigo, our retreat can also be a perfect base for other adventures. Fancy a coffee, chai, wine or bite to eat? We are lucky to be next door to Harcourt General Store (serving delicious coffee, food and wine as well as local produce).

The Harcourt retreat consists of:

full kitchen upstairs and a kitchenette downstairs.
multiple gathering/living areas.
a plethora of outside areas with decks, verandah, shedding, yards, and stables on 0.6 acres.
the creative hub of the house, a 6.4 x 6.7m craft room, has excellent lighting, a craft table with inbuilt power that seats 12, two height adjustable cutting tables, two ironing boards and irons and two design walls.
2 bathrooms, three toilets.
good heating and cooling.

Upstairs

Bedroom 1 – queen size bed
Bedroom 2 – 1 double bed and one single bed
Bedroom 3 – 1 set of single bunks, 1 set of bunks with a
double and single bed

Downstairs

Tariffs for 2023

Weekend (check in 9am Friday checkout 4 pm Sunday) -$1450.
Weekdays – Sunday to Thursday with a minimum booking of two nights- $350 per night.
Stay for a WEEK- seven nights and 8 days starting on a Mon, Tues or Wed $2800

Tariffs for 2024

Weekend (check in 9am Friday checkout 4 pm Sunday) – $1450
Weekdays – Sunday to Thursday with a minimum booking of two nights- $380 per night.
Stay for a WEEK- seven nights starting on a Mon, Tues or Wed $2800

A non refundable deposit of $300 is required when your booking is confirmed. The deposit will roll over into a bond at the time of your stay. The balance is required two weeks before your visit. The bond can be used as a deposit for your next visit or will be returned within 2 weeks when the retreat is left in a good condition.

Linen

Doonas with covers, pillows, hand towels, tea-towels, and bathmats are provided within this tariff. Guests will need to bring bath towels, two sheets and pillow cases for each bed. Bed linen and towels are available for an extra $30 per head per stay.

Check in/Check out

We endeavour to make check in and check out times as generous as possible. For weekend stays, check in is 9 am and check out 4pm. Weekday stays are generally 2pm check in and 10am check out but we will vary this where we can.
