In the developing town of Harcourt just 7 km from Castlemaine, the limestone dwelling that is Create@Harcourt stands tall in granite country at the foot of Mt Alexander. The limestone from which the house is constructed is sedimentary rock composed of the skeletons of ancient marine creatures. If you look carefully at the bricks you can see shells, coral and the skeletons of fish. The property backs onto Barkers Creek. On the hill beyond the creek is the Victorian Miniature railway. Group accommodation in Castlemaine and Harcourt.
